You Are Courageous And Unstoppable

 Artistic Soul Within Facebook

I love this article by Kyana Miner Called 3 Courageous Choices That Make Us Better, Happier People. This article took me back to my childhood when I honestly thought that nothing could hurt me. As a child I was unstoppable. I use to looove riding my bike as fast as I could with no helmet and when I first learned to swim I jumped right into the deep end. I first leaned how to swim by holding on to the edge of the pool and kicking my feet all around the edge of the pool. I eventually let go of the edge of the pool and I taught myself how to swim like a fish. Every summer I would jump into the deep end and start swimming. Front stroke, back stroke, High dive and back flips. I taught myself how to do it all without fear of drowning even though I almost did drown when I first started but I kept going.

Those adventurous days seem so far behind me now especially when I started loosing my eyesight because of Macular Degeneration but Kyana Miner's article reminded me that despite our perceived challenges we should be bold and courageous like when we were children. Hit the ground running and trust our intuition. If we fall just pick ourselves back up and keep going. Kyana's Article teaches us how to be courageous like Children and not loose our enthusiasm for life. Read Kyana's Miner article about 3 Courageous Choices That Make UsBetter, Happier People.... Be courageous, run fast, do the thing that you always wanted to do but feared to do and if you fail or fall just pick yourself back up and keep going. Live like limits to our abilities do not exist. You are an amazing human being. Trust that you have everything you need in order to succeed.

Smile Because You Are Loved

 Artistic Soul Within Facebook

I really love this great article written by Cody Fox title How to smile more every day (even if life isn't perfect). This short but sweet article is so well written. Just reading this article put a big smile on my face. His story is very inspirational.

Cody talks about the power of sayingThank You. It is amazing the positive affects that comes about from simply saying “Thank You” for everything. Thank you for the air that I breath, Thank you for the food that I have to eat, Thank you for the roof over my head and Thank you for all of life's lessons. If can you learn to appreciate the simple things in life especially in hard times you will open yourself up to receiving more in your life.

Cody also talks about how negativity tends to stick and ways to overcome it. As a Life Coach I encourage my clients to keep a journal. Keeping a journal is one of the best ways to train yourself to be positive. When life's stress starts to creep up on you it is a wonderful thing to be able to look back at all of the great things that has happened for you in your life and to see that troubles are never here to stay it is just passing through. Your journals will be powerful proof of that fact.... Take a look at Cody Fox's article about how to smile more every day. His article will put a smile on your face if nothing else ^_^

You Are Not Broken Or Defective

 Artistic Soul Within Facebook

I really love this article by Leah Cox titled You Are Broken; Let Me Fix You... How many times have you been told that you are too sensitive, not smart enough or too much of an introvert and you need to get out more? How many times have you been told that you need to speak up more, get a better job or stop doing what you are doing and find a more secure job?

Leah Cox perfectly talks about how what other people believe to be your greatest faults may turn out to be your greatest strengths. There is nothing to fix. If you find yourself surrounded by people who believe you need to be fixed Leah gives some awesome advice on how to let go of what they are telling you and how to embrace what is truly special about you. If you want to have a great impact on the world you must embrace who you are and not what others think you should be. Focus on using your own personal resources to the fullest and you will always find success....You are an amazing individual and you have everything you need to succeed. You are not broken or defective.

You Have Everything You Need To Succeed

I love this one a lot because it gives 5 powerful tips on why smart people underperform and how to fix it. This one is for the supper busy people that get overwhelmed from time to time and for the people who have technology overload. If you find yourself looking at your emails or stuck on Pinterest for hours and you are trying to get a lot work done in the day Check out Marie TV Why Smart people underperform .

I love Marie TV and this is a conversation between Marie Forleo and Ned Hallowell a psychiatrist, New York Times Bestselling author and a leading authority in the field of ADHD. In this 14 minute video they talk about 5 tips on how to stay focus in a busy and overwhelming world.

My favorite tip is the very first one which is to define clear and specific goals. 3 short term goals to accomplish today, 3 medium term goals to accomplish in the next 2-4 weeks, 3 long term goals to meet in the next 6-12 months and 3 lifetime goals to meet before you die.... I think this is a awesome idea because it puts a filter on your life. Take the 3 short term goals to accomplish today. If what you are doing or what someone else ask you to do don't line up with your short term goals you can politely say no and stay on track with your goals, all your goals.

No matter what career field you are in these 5 tips in the video are great in helping you find freedom and flow in your life. We really do have everything we need to succeed.

God Bless

Be Yourself Fully

Artistic Soul Within Facebook

Who are you? I am a big believer in studying who we are as individuals, knowing yourself and using your own personal resources to the fullest. How can you use your personal resources fully if you don't know what they are? That is why I like this personality test by Steven Aitchison. He created a fun one minute personality test that I really enjoyed.

Don't let this simple little one minute personality test fool you. This is a great start. I honestly didn't need a test to tell me what my personality is (Weeell I was a little surprised by Leader ^_^) but it did get me thinking if this is truly my personality/ My Personal Resource what am I doing with it? Am I using my own personal resource to the fullest or am I giving into a life that others have built for me?

No mater what your personality is your personality in and of itself is a great personal resource and you should use it to the fullest. This is the only way to live a life of pure joy and happiness. Ask yourself every day if what you are doing today leading you closer to where you want to be tomorrow? If the answer is no then do you think today is a good day to make some changes? Be yourself fully. You have everything you need in order to succeed..... To thine own self be true.

Please feel free to share your personality test results in the comment section below ^_^

Take A Leap Of Faith

 Artistic Soul Within Facebook

This is a great article written by Victoria Cox. In her article she asks what would your future look like if you took a leap of faith? Ask yourself what your life would look like in ten minutes if you went ahead with it. What would it look like in ten months? Ten years? Then, reverse it. What would your life look like if you don't go through with it? In ten minutes? Ten months? Ten years?

These are wonderful questions to ask oneself. Many times in our life we are faced with the question on whether we should make a move or stay where we are. In Victoria's article she perfectly talks about the ups and the downs of taking a leap of faith.

Here are my tips on taking a leap of faith...

1) Changes don't have to be big. You can start by making one small change at a time. Small changes really do add up to be a lot.

2) Changing what don't serve you is an act of bravery. Strive to change the things that do not help you to live your best life.

3) Don't be afraid to fail. Their is no such thing as failure only lessons. Learn from your mistakes, shake it off and keep moving forward.

4) Have faith that everything is working out for your highest good. The path maybe hard but don't give up. Keep moving forward. The prize is not given to the fastest or the smartest but to those who endure so don't give up. Keep going.

Taking a leap of faith can be scary but if you are willing to overcome your fears and be persistent great rewards will come your way.

God Bless

You Are In Control

 Artistic Soul Within Facebook

I love this article from RebeccaMckown. She has written a great article about how not to let the world control your happiness and this one is right on time. In a time where the world feels so out of control people need to understand that the world do not have to control your happiness.

Here are my tips on how not to let the world control your happiness.

1) Learn to accept yourself fully in who you are. See the perfections in your imperfections. You are unique so embrace your uniqueness.
  1. So many people talk about how in our society the game is rigged as if no one but the ultra rich and successful people could win... Even if this is true you must grow to understand that in your inner world the game is not rigged and there is a lot that can be done. What you can accomplish in your inner world you can accomplish even more in your outer world but you have to get your inner world in focus first.
  2. Learn to be content in your true self. The people in your life and the people that surround your life have no power over you. You are the captin of your happiness.
  3. Take a brake from negative media. If happiness truly comes from within then you must be mindful to feed yourself things that will help you develop inner peace and joy. You know the old saying you are what you eat well even in this case you are what you constantly consume.
  4. And last but not least realize that even if the world around you seems chaotic it is ok for you to hold on to your peace and joy. Don't feel guilty for being happy. It is ok to be happy even when others are not. The world would be better served if you let your love and joy spread to others who are not.
