Getting Stuck In The Negatives and how to get unstuck..
This is a Tedx talk by Alison
Ledgerwood. She gives a wonderful 10 minute talk about why we get stuck and how
to become unstuck. In short being positive don't come easy and you
have to train yourself to be positive. It takes work and it takes effort to be
more positive. Alison talks about just writing what you are grateful
for can boost your happiness and your health. I am a big advocate for
keeping a journal. I would add keeping an Art journal can also boost your
happiness and your health.
Remember bad tends to stick so train
yourself to be more positive. If you are having a hard time training
yourself to be positive look for a life coach or a trusted friend
that can help you train yourself to be more positive.
Here are my simple tips to train
yourself to be positive....
1)Be gentle with your self when you catch yourself being negative.
Training takes time.
2)Actively find things that put you in a good mood every day. Music and art
are my favorite.
3) Keep a journal. Writing or Art Journals have huge health benefits.
4) Find something new every day. You can add a description of what you
find in your journal.
5) If you are struggling to be positive find a great coach or friend that can help.
Last but not least
6) Don't take anything personal. This is the hardest tip but if you can
train yourself to not take anything personal you will find joy
that surpasses all understanding.
